This once fortified Tudor village, was built by the estuary at Riverview, with a tall watch tower to keep an eye on the local shipping, and any stray Armadas passing by. The estuary over time has silted up and the village is now several miles from the sea, and that once proud watch tower is nothing more than a ruin.
